Välkommen till Vackra Valle och Stakasjöns Naturbruk! I söder ligger Varnhem och Hornborgasjön, i öster platåberget Billingen.
Stakasjön är en av det säregna kame-landskapets många sjöar.

Här har det bott människor sedan istiden och på gården finns flera fornlämningar, de äldsta från järnåldern.
 Alldeles i närheten ligger Såntorp med gravfält från 1000-talet.

På sommaren badar man och färdas gärna i kanot på sjöarna. På vintern går det att ta sig flera mil på långfärdsskridskor. Både sommar och vinter fiskar man!

Här finns gott om vandringsleder för alla årstiderna.

Vinterfisket har varit lyckat och detta är bara början!

Åkpåsen växer med barnet och blir fin i soffan eller stolen när barnet inte längre behöver den.

Vävde en filt i åttaskaftad dräll. Den blev så lång att den blev bra som överkast! 225×129 cm. Jag väver gärna fler, filtar eller överkast, om någon blir intresserad!

Äntligen kom vår fjällnära kalv Moja (= ett på Swahilli). Det gick helt utan hjälp från vår sida. Klockan 6 syntes inga tecken och 8:30 var kalven på benen. Har haft litet problem med sår på en spene och flugor men det löstes med ett compeed plåster. Lindrig mastit i en ljuverdel löstes med urmjölkning och nu sköter Moja ljuverhälsan!

Passade så bra på vår 51:a bröllopsdag. Smakade dessutom himmelskt! Fångad i Lidans källflöden.

Äldsta barnbarnet har tagit studenten. Självklart måste han ha en skinnfäll med sig ut i livet!

All väntan och längtan är över för NU sker det!

Tackorna är nu klippta, vaccinerade mot gasbrand, avlusade, klövverkade samt juver- och tandstatusbedömda. Nu står vi på tå inför lammningen både tackor och skötare!
